Diet
Provide a mix of food specifically labeled for Gerbils, and also include something hard for them to chew on.
Cage Requirements
A ten-gallon aquarium works extremely well combined with a lid, water bottle, food dish, pine bedding, and an exercise wheel. Provide them with lots of hiding spaces and things to crawl through and chew on. If you are using a regular hamster wheel, you will need to cover the gaps with tape or something else so they don’t catch their legs or tail in the gaps.
