Diet
They require little in the way of food. Only ferret pellets, and fresh water. Consistency is the key as their digestive systems don’t tolerate much change. Find a good, quality ferret food and stick with it.
Cage Requirements
It is important to provide lots of climbing space for ferrets since they love to climb. A cage that is 2 feet, by 3 feet, and 2 feet tall is sufficient for one or two ferrets. Provide hammocks and shelves at different levels in the cage in order to prevent the ferret from falling from the top of the cage straight to the bottom.
